"Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold" —William Butler Yeats
Things fall apart. Entropy is the one constant in a changing and unpredictable world. The artists in this exhibition deal with the notion of structures—both natural and manmade—their instability and inevitable collapse.
In it’s second iteration, EF2 continues to explore the theme of systemic failure in the contemporary landscape. Through means of painting, sculpture, drawing and video these artist find common ground enlisting these themes of uncertainty and an unpredictable future.
Opening reception is from 7pm to 10pm Friday March 14th.
The Active Space is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1pm to 6pm or by appointment. EF2 runs until Sunday, April 6th.
